Mount Baker - Summer 2026
The Details
Join us for a 3-day, 2-night expedition to Mount Baker with an optional summit attempt via the Easton Glacier or Coleman-Deming route (final route decision will be made in early 2026). The trip includes a scenic hike to basecamp, a full glacier skills workshop, yoga and mindfulness practices, and a summit attempt for those interested. This is a chance to connect with nature, build community, and challenge yourself in a supportive environment.
Trip Length & Itinerary
Day 1: Hike to basecamp, set up camp, group orientation
Day 2: Glacier skills workshop, yoga, mindfulness, rest and prep for summit.
Day 3: Optional summit attempt and hike out
If summiting isn’t for you, no problem! You’re welcome to hike to basecamp and participate in all group activities. The summit attempt is an optional add-on for those who feel ready.
Fitness & Experience Requirements
No technical experience necessary! We’ll teach you the skills you need. However, participants should be able to hike uphill for several hours carrying a 35–45 pound pack. Basic fitness and a willingness to challenge yourself are essential. If you’re unsure, we’ll help you assess readiness closer to the trip, and provide training resources to help you get to where you need to be!
