This immersive journey includes glacier travel, summit scrambles, yoga and mindfulness practices, and shared reflection in a supportive community environment. It’s an ideal introduction to alpine climbing with big views, big experiences, and even bigger personal growth.

Trip Length & Itinerary

  • Day 1: Group orientation, hike in and ascend Ruth Mountain. Setup camp and close evening with yoga.

  • Day 2: Traverse ridge to Icy Peak, summit scramble and return to camp. Close evening with yoga.

  • Day 3: Morning reflection, hike out, and debrief.

This trip does not have the option for a hike in to basecamp only. If this is what you’re looking for, check out our Mount Baker Climb!

Fitness & Experience Requirements
No technical experience necessary! We’ll teach you the skills you need. However, participants should be able to hike uphill for several hours carrying a 35–45 pound pack. Basic fitness and a willingness to challenge yourself are essential. If you’re unsure, we’ll help you assess readiness closer to the trip, and provide training resources to help you get to where you need to be!
